Avaya version 5 software

Avaya have released 5 software for IP Office.

The main focus of the update centres on Mobility. IP Office users are now able to link a mobile phone with the IP Office system and get access to a variety of system features like, remote call control, transfer calls back to the office, call recording, conferencing, hold among others. If your mobile phone is compatible you can also install an application 'Avaya one-X Mobile client' that offers a visual interface for accessing the features on their IP Office system.

Avaya have also launched a range of new cheaper IP phones. The 1600 series IP handsets have a number of new 'built-in applications'.
